If I were to ever enter the retail world as a designer I would want to create denim.  Denim has become that item of clothing that we just can’t live without.  Can you imagine not having your favorite jeans to put on?!  I honestly think that would be the day Jesus would need to return, no joke!  I live in my denim and can’t image not having a pair to put on my body.  I only want to tell you guys things that I am passionate about and as you can tell this is one of them!  In saying that, my two favorite denim brands are AG and PAIGE.  I am going to tell you about PAIGE today because it is a new “love” in my lists of designers.  I have always know about and admired PAIGE for their designs and fit but have never personally been able to wear them.  Either my body has changed (which is probably the case) or the designs have changed over the years.  Whatever it is, I love the way these jeans fit me!

PAIGE was created by Paige Adams-Geller in 2004 and is located in Los Angeles, CA. The first of her products hit stores in February of 2005 and into some major retailers like Bergdorf Goodman. They were an instant hit, even among celebrities.  Paige Adam-Geller was actually a fit model for denim companies and decided to start one of her own.  It feels funny telling you this because this is what we use say when we were introducing this brand to customers in my retail days. Another fun fact about her is that she is the ONLY female founder of a company in the denim industry!  Wow, that is just so cool!  PAIGE is a company that has proven to be passionate about creating products that you want to live in and will take you from day to night.  Currently they provide denim and other clothing items for women and men and just denim selections for maternity and petite fits.

In my opinion this company has brought new life to denim for the female.  The range of body types that this denim line fits is extensive.  I have seen it on tall skinny girls, athletic girls, curvy girls, and not so curvy girls, etc. Most denim lines have a selection of styles they offer for different body types but they don’t always work as planned.  PAIGE has stepped outside of the box of the normal denim world and produced something that fits different than any other jeans you will put on. They also get a huge thumbs up from me because they don’t stretch out when you wear them.  They have stretch in them and give as you move but they are not sagging on you by the end of the day.  I think everyone would agree they don’t like saggy jeans! Right ladies?!!

So, for those of you who are reading this and have never gone and tried a pair on, I hope you will now be convinced you should do so!  Go somewhere that a sales person can recommend what style would be best for you. If you are shopping online, PAIGE has a fit guide that is very helpful in explaining how each style fits and the measurements for inseam, rise and leg opening.  There is a “You might also like” section as well that shows similar styles to what you are looking at.  I do have to warn you though, do not be offended if you have to size up.  I did in both of the pairs I purchased.  But no big deal!

I want to share a few of my favorite styles available at Nordstrom but please go to the PAIGE website and check out the MANY styles available for you!  Enjoy!
