I know this is a total different subject for me to talk about but I just have to! This is something that I love so much and want to share. I have a subscription for Play! by Sephora and it makes me so happy every month when I receive a box. I had a subscription to Birch Box a few years ago and did not like what I received in my boxes. When I joined Play! by Sephora I realized why.
Where is the place I purchase most of my makeup and skincare??? Well, that place would be Sephora! The reason I shop there is because I love most of the brands that they carry. It would only be natural for me to like my boxes because I would get to try new things from the brands I already love. With Birch Box I would get things I had never heard of and had no interest in trying. So, to sum it up, I love this subscription because I love Sephora brands and I love shopping there. For a whopping $10.98 a month I get 6 free samples, a cute bag, and a very well done giant layout of instructions on how to use the products.
I also love how there is always some sort of theme to the box. This months theme is Public Display of Complexion! How cute! So the products are all for giving you a better complexion. You will always receive a perfume sample in your box every month no matter what theme they choose. I do not like getting perfume samples because I do not wear perfume so I wish I could opt out of this being sent to me.
I have two girlfriends that also subscribe to Play! by Sephora and they both get some different things in their boxes than I do so the boxes each month are not all the same. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation: This is considered a fan favorite!
Laura Mercier Translucent Powder: One of my favorites for oily skin!
Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Moonlight: Gives you some shimmer and it’s very pretty!
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Skin Booster: I am a huge fan of serums!
Chanel Gabrielle Chanel: Also a new item at Sephora. If you like perfumes they send really nice smelling ones. I just can’t wear them!
I tried the Make Up For Ever HD booster and foundation today and I think I am going to like them both a lot! I already use the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder so this small size will be great for travel. I have used this for several years now and love it. It is especially great for oily skin, which I have.
If you are interested in signing up for the Play! by Sephora subscription you should do it now. There is usaully a waiting period after you apply. I waited for a month or two before I got it. It also took me a couple of days to see the email they sent saying I was now eligible for the subscription and by the time I got there to sign up it was full again! So make sure you keep a look out for that email and sign up right away. I ended up waiting another month. If you are a Sephora fan or a fan of their awesome brands this would be a great subscription for you!
