Ladies, I am so sorry this is so late! I have been trying to get to this and things just keep coming up! I haven’t even had the chance to really look at what I got in the box and try anything yet. I will say that I have purchased the Makeup For Ever HD foundation from Octobers box and put the Makeup For Ever boosting serum and Becca Shimmer Primer on my Christmas list! All three of these came in the October box and I loved them and will be wearing them. The color of the foundation that came in my box was not a match to my skin so I had to go get some more samples and when I found one that worked I purchased it.
So, for the November box. It was titled “Survival of the Chillest”. Cute play on words for being all about self care and loving yourself before the holiday rush begins! The box contained the following and I have provided you the links to check them out!
Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara: I actually got this in a 500 point set that I picked up at Sephora and I LOVE it. It makes my lashes voluminous! I had someone say something about my lashes the other day and that has never happened to me before, so that says something right?!
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask: This baby is something I own and it is so good if you get clogged pores and have oily skin. I do, so this works amazing for me. I love products with charcoal in them for this very reason. I use something with charcoal in it about once a week if I have the time.
Moroccanoil Moroccanoil Treatment: This oil can be applied to wet hair to speed drying time or dry hair for a frizz-free finish. It is supposed to condition your hair and provided protection from environmental elements. I have not tried this but there is nothing by this brand that I have not liked. I use the shampoo and conditioner and a hair mask that work so well for curly hair. My hair gets dry and brittle so this helps give me added moisture so I will definitely be trying this oil!
Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Perfect Nude: As I was writing this post I decided to get up and put this on my lips to see what I thought. I wasn’t sure what they meant by a lip “gel” but it is really just a lip gloss. It goes on really smooth, has a great light scent and feels really good on my dry winter lips! The color disappears so it will be good over a colored lipstick or just by itself for a pretty shine on the lip and a neutral look that I love! The color is supposed to bring out the “best of your natural lip color” according to the pamphlet that comes in the box.
Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum: I love this brand so much but sometimes I can’t use it because of the smell. I always give things a try so I will give it a whirl and see. Their products are usually pretty wonderful if you can handle the scent.
Burberry My Berry Blush Perfume: So here goes the smelly stuff again. They include a perfume scent in every box that I wish I could opt out of but I am sure for those perfume lovers this one being Burberry is probably good. It is considered a fruity and floral scent.
